Please join us for Mills Park's Talent Showcase on Thursday, May 24th at 6:00 in the cafetorium. Tickets will be sold at the door for $2.00. We have a star-studded lineup of acts including singers, dancers, musicians, comedians, and much more! Come out to support our talented students!

The MPMS Book Drive has been extended because we need more books! This is your opportunity to help underprivileged youth in Wake County schools through the local charity “Read and Feed”. Please bring your used books to your homeroom teachers by Friday, May 11. The book drive will now be held May 14th and 15th in the Media Center (7:30-8:00 am, at lunches, and 3:00-3:30 pm).

Desperate need for End of Grade testing volunteers:

Thursday, May 17th – 5 people needed

Friday, May 18th – 5 people needed

Please contact our main number at 466-1500 about volunteering and the process it involves. The volunteer application process for Wake County needs to be completed prior to being able to proctor. Applications for the county are only accepted on Mondays. Thank you.

Parents- The front drive to our school will be closed due to damage caused by a sinkhole. We will use our back entrance road for morning car-pool and for visitors to our building during the day. For car-pool we will have students enter through the rear doors of our building. We will allow students to enter the building at 7:30 due to the decreased space for a car-pool lane.

If you are coming to our campus for a meeting or to pickup or drop off a student after morning arrival you can use the fire lane that goes around the back and side of our building just past the basketball court. The fire lane road leads to the parking lot in front of the building. You will exit via the firelane towards the back of the building. Please do not use the bus loop portion of our drive when coming on campus. We do not have a definite date as of yet as to when repairs will be completed. Please call our main number 466-1500 should you have any questions.

Early Check-Out: Checking Children Out Early: If you need to pick your child up early for an appointment, Please be sure to check them out before 2:30 pm. If you wait until after that time, you run the risk of getting caught in the carpool line. Traditionally the end of the day is a very busy time, so we would like to take care of early check-out before then.
